Job summary

Harmonic, a startup discovery engine in New York, is seeking a senior software engineer to design and scale data infrastructure that powers how we map startups, people, and investments. You will own end-to-end data pipelines, ensure data quality, and push forward LLM-powered extraction and agentic workflows.

Work closely with backend, databases, and product teams to ship new data products that improve signal for investors and GTM teams alike. This is a high-impact role at a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with data infra experience.
• Ability to design scalable data models and serving paths.
• Strong sense of product value from data and a customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Architect and run large-scale pipelines powering Harmonic's data understanding.
• Own data quality, coverage, freshness, and ingestion techniques.
• Advance dynamic, LLM-powered agentic workflows and evaluations.
• Collaborate across backend, databases, search indices, and APIs to surface data.
• Partner with GTM, Product, Design, and other teams to ship data products.
