Job summary

Kevala is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack to join our platform team. You will develop and maintain front end and backend code for our cloud-based web applications, working with TypeScript, Svelte, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Redis and Kubernetes.

This fully remote role offers the opportunity to influence grid visualization features, mentor peers, and shape architecture while operating our microservices and deployment workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building modern, framework-based web applications across the full stack.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Versatility and enthusiasm for taking on novel problems and learning new technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and project managers to plan and develop product features.
• Architect, maintain, test, monitor, and improve front end web applications.
• Design, implement and maintain API endpoints for web app features.
• Learn to operate microservices environments, deploy and monitor services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Help hire and develop the team.
