Job summary

Mitratech is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own features across a mature Rails monolith and Go microservices, delivering secure, fast software for our background screening platform. You will design across Rails and Go, extend ATS and partner integrations, and orchestrate asynchronous workflows while enabling AI-powered capabilities.

You’ll ship end-to-end, test major UX paths, and monitor outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong production experience with b2b SaaS applications.
• Strong Go skills, or equivalent backend experience with HTTP services, background workers, and concurrency.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills and good instincts for relational data modeling.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations (webhooks, OAuth, SFTP).
• Comfort with server-rendered frontends (ERB/HTML/CSS) and a habit of writing well tested code.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features across Rails monolith and Go microservices — candidate portals, partner flows, I-9 workflows, admin and adjudication tools.
• Extend ATS and partner integrations.
• Orchestrate asynchronous vendor searches and reporting pipelines.
• Use AI in workflows, pair with AI coding assistants, and use AI code review on PRs.
• Help build AI-powered features into the platform: document parsing, extraction, automation of screening and adjudication workflows.
• Own the full lifecycle: build, test major UX paths, review, ship, and monitor.
