Job summary

Mitre Media is hiring a remote Tech Lead Full-Stack Rails Engineer to architect and build AI-powered web tools across Dividend.com, MutualFunds.com, and more. You’ll lead a small team, integrate LLMs, and shape system design in a Rails 8 microservices platform.

You’ll work in a remote-first hybrid setup, collaborating with the CTO/CEO and delivering high-impact features with a focus on performance, UX, and scalability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Ruby on Rails back-end experience
• Experience with Rails 6-8 and Rails architecture
• Proficient with PostgreSQL or MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis
• Familiar with Docker-based deployments and microservices
• Experience integrating AI/ML models in web apps
• Knowledge of LLMs, NLP, language-model tooling

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain Rails applications (Rails 8)
• Integrate LLMs into microservices-based architecture
• Enhance front-end with StimulusJS/JS/React and AI-driven UI
• Optimize LLM inference for low latency and cost using caching and async processing
