Job summary

Sincere is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own broad product areas, ship high-quality improvements, and contribute across the stack including Ruby on Rails and Next.js.

You will partner with product and design to identify customer pain points, draft solutions, and deliver meaningful improvements while leveraging AI-assisted tools like Claude Code or Codex to accelerate development. The role is remote with occasional in-person meetings around Greater Boston.

Qualifications

• Seasoned software engineer with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience building customer-facing web apps at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build full-stack features across Rails and Next.js.
• Own initiatives end-to-end from discovery to release.
• Collaborate with product/design to address customer pain points.
• Utilize Claude Code and Codex in development workflow.
• Make pragmatic technical tradeoffs balancing speed, quality and maintainability.
• Deliver polished UX with reliable performance.
• Monitor production with Datadog and Mixpanel to inform decisions.
• Contribute to continuous product and engineering improvements.
