Job summary

Discern Analytics, Inc. is seeking a passionate, experienced full stack engineer to design and build features across frontend and backend using React, TypeScript, and Go. You will work with a distributed team reporting to the CTO, contributing to scalable, enterprise-grade SaaS software.

The role requires 5+ years of software engineering, strong SQL/database design, and a track record of shipping. The team collaborates across product and design and operates primarily in EST hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years building software with React and TypeScript.
• 3+ years programming in Go.
• Extensive experience designing relational database structures and SQL.
• Passion for solving business problems and developing enterprise or SaaS software.
• Strong debugging and regression testing skills.
• Ability to automate tasks and improve team efficiency.
• Effective communication in a distributed engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Work on front-end and back-end platform technologies to deliver features for the Discern product.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Lead Product Designer, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality software.
• Contribute ideas on technologies, patterns, and best practices used at Discern.
• Apply experience and creativity as the team and company grow.
