Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance the UI/UX of the Enterprise Data Governance Platform and Control Plane. You will shape architecture for scalable, enterprise-grade applications interacting with metadata and analytics platforms across the organization.

The role spans front-end, back-end, database integration, and DevOps, with opportunities to influence department strategy and establish development standards. Remote work is possible with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in application development or full-stack engineering
• 1+ years of experience developing applications using Go and/or Python
• Experience developing production web applications
• Ability to evaluate challenges and propose practical solutions
• Experience utilizing AI and AI coding tools
• Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment
• Experience with cloud environments, especially Azure
• Experience in Agile/Scrum

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications.
• Build modern front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and state management frameworks.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Translate business requirements into well-designed software solutions.
• Contribute to microservices architecture with focus on scalability, security, performance.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, data engineers, and governance teams to deliver capabilities.
• Contribute to DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automated testing.
• Stay current with modern development frameworks and tooling.
