Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead hands-on development across the Wisconsin Medicaid Market. You will drive architectural direction, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable solutions across front-end, back-end, data, and hosting layers using .NET, SQL Server, React, and Azure.

You will promote modern engineering practices (CI/CD, infra/ security as code, automated testing, observability) and responsibly use Humana-approved AI tools to accelerate delivery while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft stack (.NET, SQL Server, Windows services).
• Experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with React for building responsive web apps (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on design and delivery across Wisconsin Medicaid Market (front-end, back-end, data, integrations, hosting).
• Work across multiple core administration platforms and supporting services.
• Identify and address technical debt and reliability gaps to improve scalability and operability.
• Support modernization efforts with automation and repeatability.
• Partner with IT leadership and platform teams to align with enterprise standards.
• Ensure security, HIPAA compliance, and security-as-code in delivery pipelines.
• Mentor engineers through design discussions and code reviews; coach on CI/CD and observability.
