Job summary

Curai Health is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer to help advance our AI-powered healthcare platform. You will work across the stack, design systems, and collaborate with ML researchers, physicians, and product teams to deliver scalable features.

You will own API and frontend patterns, contribute to cloud infrastructure, write tests, and help raise product quality through CI and end-to-end testing. This is a remote U.S.-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field preferred.
• 5-7 years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer owing features from design, to delivery, to continued iteration.
• Proficiency with React: components, hooks, state management, and performance.
• Python backend experience, ideally with async frameworks (FastAPI, Starlette).
• Experience with both NoSQL and relational databases - you know when to reach for DynamoDB vs Postgres, and how to model around access patterns.
• Comfort with asynchronous workflows - background jobs, retries, idempotency, and eventual consistency.
• Demonstrated experience raising product excellence using testing as your leverage - e2e coverage, visual regression testing, and CI to ship multiple times daily without fear.
• An understanding of key components of our platform and infrastructure, including AWS, Docker, Terraform, AI / ML technologies, Git, and RESTful services.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-leverage projects from concept to completion.
• Lead architecture decisions across teams.
• Develop new and update user-facing features.
• Collaborate with backend for consistent APIs and frontend patterns.
• Produce technical specs and documentation.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Engage with stakeholders using Agile practices to define features.
