Job summary

Kustomer is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Engineering team. You’ll work in a pod of 3–5 engineers, shipping end-to-end features with Node.js, React, Golang, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and AWS.

AI capabilities are a core focus as you build, test, and deploy with a strong emphasis on performance, security, and UX. You’ll collaborate with PMs, product and design, and mentor teammates while embracing a remote-friendly culture across the U.S. and U.K.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience across frontend and backend.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with AI tools and full-stack architecture.

Responsibilities

• Ship full-stack features end-to-end in a pod.
• Develop APIs and integrate with external services and databases.
• Build front-end interfaces with focus on user experience and accessibility.
• Design AI-powered features to improve UX and platform efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and full-stack technologies.
