Job summary

BLEN is seeking a Senior Software Developer II - Full Stack to lead design and development of scalable digital solutions. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture, and own cloud and AI-driven features.

The role blends hands-on coding with strategic leadership and prototype-to-production execution. You will collaborate with tech leads, contribute to architectural decisions, and champion best practices in cloud services and AI development across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• Extensive full stack experience with Python, React, Next.js, Node.js, Java or Ruby on Rails
• Hands-on Python and AI tooling including LLMs and modern AI frameworks
• Strong containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Firestore, MongoDB)
• Experience integrating external APIs and third-party services
• Cloud services management on AWS, Azure, or GCP; Git and large codebases
• Leadership experience including Tech Lead responsibilities and mentoring

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and development strategy in collaboration with the tech lead
• Act as Tech Lead when required and drive major technical decisions
• Design scalable, maintainable systems and architectures
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts that translate into production features
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-team technical guidance
• Lead architectural interviews and contribute to hiring decisions
• Communicate designs and progress to clients, stakeholders, and teams
• Drive high-performance, scalable software development practices
