Swiftly is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable cloud-based services across backend (Java, Node.js, Python) and frontend (Vue.js). You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver end-to-end solutions for transit agencies, contributing across the stack in a distributed team.

You should have 5+ years of software experience, real-time data processing know-how, and comfort with AWS and APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with real-time data processing systems.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and extend scalable backend and frontend features.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to validate needs.
• Prototype quickly to de-risk projects and iterate to production-ready solutions.
• Deliver incremental value and document architectural decisions.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to code reviews.
