Pantheon is seeking a Software Engineer II to build the core capabilities of a real-time collaborative platform. You’ll work across the full stack, collaborating with product and design to ship features that content teams rely on daily.

You will contribute to architectural decisions, craft high-quality code, and help define what gets built in an early-stage product with momentum. This role offers a remote-forward, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid full-stack capability with production code on backend and frontend.
• Experience with modern API design: REST, GraphQL, or webhooks.
• Comfortable in cloud-native environments (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong fundamentals: testing, tradeoffs, maintainability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Active involvement with AI in development workflows or products.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features across backend, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with shared ownership of quality.
• Participate in architectural discussions and design decisions as an active contributor.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into working software.
• Integrate AI tooling into development workflow and product.
