Job summary

Pantheon, a remote-forward team, seeks a Principal Engineer to lead P1’s technical direction across real-time collaboration, APIs, and data models. You will shape architecture, set engineering standards, and partner with product and security teams while remaining hands-on as needed.

You will mentor engineers, influence decisions across multiple teams, and help ensure reliability, security, and scalable delivery in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Define P1’s architectural direction across real-time collaboration and APIs.
• Partner with engineering, product, design, security, infrastructure, support, and go-to-market leaders to define technical strategy.
