Job summary

Pantheon is building the next generation of web content infrastructure, a real-time, collaborative platform for content teams to create, publish, and manage content. As an early Software Engineer II, you contribute end-to-end from backend to frontend, shaping architectural decisions in a small, senior team.

You will ship features across the stack, write robust tests, and participate in design discussions, partnering with product and design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals: you write tests, understand tradeoffs, and think about maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with shared ownership of quality.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate requirements into working software.
• Integrate AI tooling into your development workflow and into the product itself.
