Job summary

Pantheon is building the next generation of web content infrastructure. We seek a Software Engineer II to help define and ship core real-time collaborative features across backend, APIs, and frontend systems. You’ll work with a small, senior team that values craft and pace, shaping architecture and product decisions from day one.

You will grow rapidly in a remote-forward team, collaborating with product and design to deliver impactful software that powers websites at scale.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid full-stack capability — shipped production code on both backend and frontend.
• Experience with modern API design: REST, GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full-stack features across backend services, APIs, and frontend interfaces.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with shared ownership of quality.
• Collaborate closely with product and design to translate requirements into working, well-crafted software.
• Integrate AI tooling into your development workflow and into the product itself.
• Participate in code review and help maintain a high engineering bar across the team.
