Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a senior full-stack software engineer to contribute significantly to building enterprise software products. You will develop world-class frontend and backend solutions and collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to drive high-impact projects.

You will mentor teammates and shape engineering practices while owning the end-to-end software lifecycle and ensuring observable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building full-stack production systems across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong backend experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring or similar.
• Experience building APIs and with SQL databases (MariaDB/PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of distributed systems and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and containerized environments.
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience with AI tools in development workflows and agentic patterns (Claude).
• Experience with Kafka for event streaming.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Build world-class frontend and backend solutions for enterprise-scale products.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to drive high-impact projects.
• Mentor team members and help shape engineering practices.
• Own the software development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Ensure systems are observable via logs, metrics and tracing.
• Contribute to agentic and AI-assisted development workflows using Claude.
