Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC is seeking a senior full stack software engineer to contribute significantly to building software products for a growing enterprise organization. You will build world-class frontend and backend solutions and collaborate closely with product and engineering leaders to drive high-impact projects and deliver high-quality customer experiences.

As an experienced engineer you will mentor team members, influence technical decisions, and help shape engineering practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production systems full stack across frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Strong backend experience with Kotlin, Java, Spring, or similar.
• Experience building APIs and working with SQL databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL or similar).
• Understanding distributed systems concepts including asynchronous processing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and containerized environments.
• Strong experience with observability tools (Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar).
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows and familiarity with agentic patterns.
• Experience with event streaming systems such as Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build frontend and backend production systems across the full stack.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to drive high-impact projects and deliver quality customer experiences.
• Contribute to technical decisions, mentor team members, and help shape engineering practices.
• Own the software development lifecycle from design through deployment and testing.
• Ensure systems are observable through logs, metrics, and tracing and improve workflows with AI tools.
