Laansu Incorporated is seeking a Senior Software Developer to build and support software for the Department of Transportation and public road safety. The role requires staying compliant with a Public Trust Position and US work authorization.

You will lead development, mentor juniors, and deliver full-stack solutions using Java backend and Angular frontend within a hybrid work arrangement in Sterling, VA. Competitive salary and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5-10 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years writing object-oriented Java code.
• 5+ years building web apps or APIs.
• 5+ years designing relational databases.
• 3+ years UI with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Angular/TypeScript.
• Familiar with AWS (ECS, RDS, KMS).
• Familiar with ORM tools like Hibernate/JPA.
• Familiar with Git or similar VCS.
• Hands-on full-stack with Angular frontend and Java backend.
• Experience with microservices and backend service design.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or similar.
