Postman is seeking a Senior Engineer to shape customer journeys from onboarding to adoption, collaborating with Product, Design, and Data to deliver intuitive experiences for developers and teams. You will drive product value by building scalable frontend features and using data to guide decisions.

The role emphasizes ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and a hands-on approach to improving the core platform for diverse user types including AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building frontend or full-stack applications with a focus on product and user experience.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; experience with modern frameworks like React or Next.js.
• Track record of building and improving product experiences that drive user engagement and adoption.
• Experience using data, analytics, or experimentation to guide product decisions.
• Strong product sense and attention to detail—you care deeply about how things work and feel.
• Ability to take ownership of ambiguous problem spaces and drive them to clear outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating across functions.
• Curiosity about how developers work, and a desire to build tools that make them more effective.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve key product journeys from sign-up through onboarding, feature discovery, and purchase.
• Build and refine user experiences that help developers and teams quickly understand and realize the value of Postman.
• Design and implement features that drive adoption of core platform capabilities across different user types (individuals, teams, and AI-assisted workflows).
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Data to identify opportunities and prioritize improvements across the user journey.
• Use experimentation and analytics to inform decisions and validate the impact of changes.
• Develop a deep understanding of how developers use Postman—individually and collaboratively—and apply those insights to improve the product.
• Iterate quickly, delivering thoughtful, incremental improvements that compound over time.
• Contribute to the evolution of our onboarding and discovery systems as the product and customer base continue to grow.
