Job summary

Realtor.com in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the News & Insights team. You will own server-side systems while contributing to frontend features, working with React and Next.js, Node.js, and APIs.

You will design scalable backend services, improve caching and delivery, support CI/CD, and collaborate with product and editorial stakeholders to shape technical priorities. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience, strong JS/TS, REST and GraphQL, cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend and frontend capabilities.
• Experience owning full-stack features from design through production.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience; Node.js preferred.
• Experience with React/Next.js and modern frontend tooling.
• Experience designing and operating RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Cloud deployment, CI/CD, and AWS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand consumer-facing features across frontend and backend.
• Own full-stack work from technical design through testing, release, and production support.
• Design, build, and scale backend services and APIs.
• Develop Node.js/TypeScript services, GraphQL schemas, and RESTful APIs.
• Improve caching, delivery strategies, and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with Product editorial stakeholders and engineers in Agile ceremonies.
