Edwards Lifesciences in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Applications), Full Stack, to own the architecture for a web product area and drive patterns across teams. You will shape API contracts, security flows, and production health while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a medtech environment.

You will deploy on AWS/GCP, use CI/CD and IaC, and mentor engineers. This role emphasizes reliability, performance, and adherence to SSDLC in a regulated setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Proficiency in React or Angular with TypeScript and one or more of Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
• Experience designing application architecture and API contracts.
• Experience deploying and operating apps on AWS or GCP, including CI/CD and containers.
• Experience owning performance, reliability, and production health of end-user software.
• Strong communication and collaboration across time zones, with SSDLC, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Responsabilidades

• Own application and service architecture for a web product area.
• Define and implement API contracts and security patterns, including OAuth2 / OIDC / SSO.
• Ensure performance and reliability targets and address production issues.
• Deploy web applications on the cloud using containers and infrastructure as code.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in hiring.
