Job summary

GridUnity is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and scale our cloud-based SaaS platform. You will be a technical leader, mentor, and change agent, reporting to the Engineering Manager, owning features end-to-end with emphasis on scalability, reliability, and security.

You will guide the full stack across data-driven apps, mentor engineers, promote best practices, collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into elegant solutions, and influence architecture

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development, including 3+ years in senior roles.
• Proven leadership: mentoring engineers, leading initiatives, driving improvements.
• Strong experience building and scaling full-stack applications.
• Experience architecting, building, and maintaining production systems.
• Excellent communication to influence direction and align teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of high-scale, data-driven applications across the full stack.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and pairing sessions.
• Champion engineering best practices, improving scalability, reliability, observability, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teammates to translate business needs into elegant solutions.
• Influence system architecture decisions and lead high-impact technical initiatives.
• Serve as steward of data privacy, security, and accuracy of critical datasets.
• Introduce new tools, workflows, and approaches to improve delivery of software.
• Provide thought leadership to support long-term product and technology strategy.
