Job summary

Greenlight is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack to join the Web Core team. You will help bring core product functionality to the web, contribute across frontend and backend services, provide technical leadership, and mentor engineers to raise engineering quality.

You will work in a role reporting to a Director of Engineering, with flexible WFH options and a strong focus on scalable, reliable systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 7+ years of software development with leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in React/Next.js/Remix.
• Strong backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript and REST APIs.
• Experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of web experiences with strong UX.
• Define engineering standards and set the technical vision for the web platform.
• Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence across the platform.
• Design, modify, and develop backend services powering web products for scalability and reliability.
