Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing and scaling web-based applications in a SaaS environment.
• Experience leading technical projects end-to-end—from requirements through implementation and optimization.
• Familiarity with modern Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, CI/CD).
• Strong automated testing ethos and architectural focus across stacks.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language such as Ruby, Java, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, resilient, and elegant web-based solutions to solve complex business problems at scale.
• Lead by example in design, coding, and architecture; mentor and coach other engineers.
• Formulate, implement, and optimize algorithms and queries for SaaS scalability and performance.
• Design and deliver new features with a focus on robustness and maintainability.
• Drive engineering excellence through TDD, code reviews, and CI practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, PMs, designers, and researchers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Promote agile practices emphasizing collaboration, prioritization, urgency, and accountability.
• Proactively research and apply new technologies to improve system quality.
