Job summary

Leidos is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer to support the Chinook program for an IC customer. The role blends full-stack development with Agile leadership, using Next.js, React.js, Python, Django, Django REST, Django CMS, Wagtail, PostgreSQL, and React Native with iOS tech on AWS.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 8-12 years of experience, or Master's with 6-10 years of experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 5+ years designing, developing, and maintaining modern web and mobile apps.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and Python, Django.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web and mobile apps for mission-critical requirements.
• Build front-end with Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, CSS; back-end with Python, Django.
• Develop and maintain content management with Wagtail CMS and optimize PostgreSQL.
• Develop cross-platform mobile apps using React Native and native iOS tech (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, iOS SDKs).
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, support sprint execution, remove impediments, promote continuous improvement.
