Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. You will design, develop, and deliver modern software solutions across UI and backend, working with cloud-native architectures and DevSecOps practices.

In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to microservices and REST APIs, and help ensure security and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4–8 years of experience, or Master's with 2–6 years of experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with ability to pass a Polygraph.
• Proficiency with web, OOP, and cloud technologies as listed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions supporting GEOINT mission.
• Participate in agile sprints; contribute to stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
• Build and maintain secure, containerized apps using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Develop RESTful APIs and UIs with modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with mission users and product managers to refine requirements.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines; ensure code meets security and accreditation standards.
• Participate in code reviews; mentor junior developers as needed.
• Address tasks prioritized by the product owner.
