Job summary

Leidos seeks a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer for the Chinook Program supporting an Intelligence Community customer. You will design, develop, and deliver software solutions across UI and backend, leveraging cloud-native architecture and secure coding practices.

You will work in an agile team building microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern frontend with React/Node.js, while collaborating with mission stakeholders and cloud engineers to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 4-8 years of experience or Master's with 2-6 years of experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI with ability to pass a Polygraph.
• Proficiency with Web: HTML, CSS, JSON, Ajax, REST APIs; OO languages like Python/Java/JavaScript; Go; frameworks React/Angular/Vue.js/JQuery/Spring Boot/Django/Node.js/Flask/Svelte; Cloud AWS/Azure; databases MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server; Windows/Linux; Git.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins) and agile tools (JIRA, Confluence).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions supporting GEOINT mission.
• Participate in agile sprints and contribute to daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Build and maintain secure, containerized apps using Docker/Kubernetes and AWS.
• Develop RESTful APIs and user interfaces with modern tools (React, Node.js, Flask, Spring Boot).
• Collaborate with users and product managers to refine requirements and improve UX.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines and ensure code meets security and accreditation standards.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Handle prioritized tasks from the product owner.
