Job summary

Jobot in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and operate software across the full technology stack, build APIs and data pipelines, and influence architecture and engineering standards.

You will collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership, mentor others, and contribute to AI-assisted development practices using modern tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and ChatGPT in daily work.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience across the stack.
• Experience building and supporting distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and scalable cloud-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software across the full technology stack.
• Build and maintain APIs, microservices, backend services, and data pipelines.
• Contribute to system architecture, infrastructure, and database design decisions.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Leadership teams.
• Review code and promote engineering best practices across the organization.
• Support ML initiatives through experimentation, testing, and model iteration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
