Job summary

Alivo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain core product functionality across our platform. You will work across the stack from backend services to frontend experiences, shaping the technical foundation behind our AI-powered customer communications.

You will own projects from technical design to deployment, collaborate with Product and Leadership, and help drive platform scalability and reliability while staying at the forefront of AI tech.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong full-stack development experience with Python and React.
• Experience building and deploying production software applications.
• Experience working with AI, LLMs, or ML-powered products.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, API design, and scalable systems.
• Experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, and modern software practices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with observability, infrastructure-as-code, or release engineering.
• Experience with security best practices and secure development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack product features across our platform.
• Build backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop frontend functionality using React.
• Own projects from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with Product and Leadership to deliver customer value quickly.
• Develop and improve LLM-powered functionality across the platform.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and development workflows.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and release processes.
• Mentor and elevate other engineering team members.
