Job summary

Elastic is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer to join the IT Software Engineering team as an IC. You will design, develop, and deploy internal web apps and AI-powered bots, writing clean React and Node.js code, and integrating backend services with Elasticsearch.

You will lead the implementation of AI-grounded workflows, leverage Cursor/Claude/Copilot, and own production systems with automated testing and CI/CD processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack development with React, TS, and Node.js.
• Hands-on Elasticsearch data modeling, indexing, and Kibana integration.
• AI & bot engineering with LLMs, vector search or RAG.
• Experience using AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) to speed delivery.
• Automated testing and CI/CD with feature flags and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Build Enterprise Applications: Write clean, maintainable code across React, TypeScript, and Node.js to design and ship full-stack applications that replace legacy SaaS tools.
• Develop AI Bots & Workflows: Architect and deploy intelligent internal bots using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector search to automate workflows and support requests.
• Build on the Elastic Stack: Connect internal apps to Elasticsearch and Kibana for real-world reference architectures.
• Accelerate Delivery with AI Tools: Use AI coding assistants to write code faster, generate tests, and increase feature velocity.
• Maintain Code Quality & Operations: Write tests, run CI/CD pipelines, use feature flags, and participate in on-call rotations.
