Job summary

Lighthouse in the United States is seeking a senior full stack engineer to build the systems and interfaces that power our products—from React frontends to APIs, data models, and real-time components.

You’ll work across our internal case management tools and applicant-facing portal, collaborating with product and design to ship polished, reliable software while tackling complex workflows and AI-powered features.

Qualifications

• 4+ years shipping product across frontend and backend.
• Deep expertise in React and TypeScript.
• Experience taking products from 0 to 1 and owning architectural decisions.
• Experience building sophisticated web applications and managing state, performance, and concurrency.
• Ability to independently research, prototype, and drive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build core product capabilities end to end across frontend and backend.
• Evolve our React architecture to support complex workflows and live data.
• Build document editing, review, and collaboration features with AI-powered workflows.
• Partner with product and design to take ideas from prototypes to polished software.
