Job summary

Elastic is seeking a hands-on Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer to join IT Software Engineering. You will lead the technical design, development, and deployment of full-stack internal web applications and AI-powered bots.

You will write clean React and Node.js code, integrate backend services with Elasticsearch, and leverage modern AI tools to accelerate delivery—all while taking complete ownership of production systems.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on full-stack development using React, TypeScript and Node.js.
Hands-on Elasticsearch experience with data modeling, indexing, and Kibana integration.
Practical AI & bot engineering experience with LLMs, vector search, RAG pipelines, or bot frameworks.
Daily proficiency with AI coding tools to accelerate workflows and ensure code quality.
Experience with automated testing (RTL, Cypress/Playwright), CI/CD, feature flags, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Build enterprise applications: write clean, maintainable React/TypeScript/Node.js code for internal tools.
Develop AI bots and workflows using LLMs, vector search, and RAG to automate workflows.
Integrate internal apps with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
Accelerate delivery with AI coding assistants to improve velocity and tests.
Maintain code quality and operations with tests, CI/CD, feature flags, and on-call support.
