Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems
• Mentor other members of the engineering community and participate in technology communities
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for millions of Americans
• Use NodeJs, TypeScript, Angular, HTML/CSS, Java, SQL, Python, Kafka, RDBMS/NoSQL databases, Docker, AWS Fargate; leverage AWS tools
• Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and define reusable frameworks
• Identify areas for refactoring and reduce technical debt while improving performance
