Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply).
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that meet regulatory needs for the company.
• Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, mentoring other engineers, and participating in internal/external tech communities.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of Americans to achieve financial empowerment.
• Utilize Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, AWS tools and services, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Provide technical leadership across Agile teams, setting standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
• Partner with architects to define service boundaries and reusable frameworks.
• Identify areas for improvement, refactor code, and reduce technical debt to enhance performance.
• Influence long-term technology strategy in a 'you build it, you own it' environment.
