Job summary

Capital One is seeking Full-stack Software Engineers to drive a major transformation in Risk Tech. You will work on data‑driven AI powered risk management solutions, collaborating with the GRC team to deploy proprietary tools across cloud-based platforms.

You will lead diverse tech projects, mentor teammates, and help establish design standards and scalable architectures. You will use NodeJs, TypeScript, Angular, Java, Python, and SQL across distributed microservices, containers, and AWS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
• Mentor other members of the engineering community and stay current with tech trends.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions for millions of users.
• Contribute to API design and service boundaries with architects for reusable frameworks.
• Identify and refactor areas to reduce technical debt and improve system performance.
