Job summary

Capital One is seeking Full-stack Software Engineers to drive a major transformation in Risk Tech. You will lead diverse technology projects, mentor engineers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions across Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, and TypeScript.

You’ll work with AWS tools, Docker and Kubernetes, and modern databases while aligning with Agile teams and architectural direction to reduce technical debt and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Preferred: 7+ years coding in multiple languages and 3+ years with databases.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC, and observability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers in distributed microservices and full stack systems.
