Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience
• At least 2 years of public cloud/platform experience (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems
• Mentor other engineers and participate in internal and external technology communities
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions that empower customers
• Utilize Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker and Kubernetes, and AWS services
• Provide technical leadership and set standards for design, development, and operations
• Define service boundaries and reusable frameworks with architects
• Identify areas for refactoring and reducing technical debt to improve performance
• Influence long-term technology strategy in a build-it, own-it environment
