Fuku in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to lead and own large parts of the product, balancing frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python) responsibilities.

You will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to deliver impactful experiences for millions of users in a hybrid work model with 3 in-office days in San Francisco and potential NYC consideration.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years software engineering experience, preferably at startups.
• Strong TypeScript skills for React frontend.
• Strong Python backend experience.
• Experience with SQL and Postgres.
• Customer-centric mindset with empathy for creators.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and scope solutions with teammates.
• Experience leading and owning large features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development, building delightful UI/UX for millions of daily page views.
• Build and maintain backend systems in Python.
• Work with SQL and Postgres for data modeling and queries.
• Scope and implement product features in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to design end-to-end systems.
• Own products from concept to production.
