Job summary

Method is seeking a talented software engineer to own end-to-end projects with autonomy and strong team support. This is a full-stack, backend-leaning role where you will build experiences in React on the frontend and Node on the backend to support fintech-facing features.

The team values clear communication, scalable production-grade code, and a balance between speed and quality. Expect a regular in-person presence at NYC/Austin/SF/DC hubs with flexible days in the office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience, ideally full-stack.
• Experience building scalable production‑level applications.
• Experience with Node/JS, React and MongoDB/NoSQL.
• Ability to clearly communicate concepts and break down solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform using React and a Node backend.
• Investigate and debug issues with monitoring and logging tools and define action items.
• Contribute to code reviews and participate in interviewing new team members.
• Collaborate to define the roadmap by understanding customer needs.
