Job summary

ALSO is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own a capability from data model to screen, spanning backend microservices and frontend surfaces. You will design and ship secure, scalable fleet-infrastructure, APIs, and customer/partner portals in a 0-to-1 environment where patterns shape future work.

You’ll bring 7+ years of backend service ownership, strong API design, and modern frontend proficiency with TypeScript/React.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production backend services.
• Data modeling across relational and non-relational stores with live migrations.
• Event-driven architecture in production (Kafka, SQS/SNS, Redis).
• OAuth2/OIDC/JWT/mTLS practices in real deployments.
• Expert TypeScript/Node.js with React-based interfaces.
• Design system fluency and accessibility as defaults.
• CI/CD and testing discipline in a heavily autonomous setting.
• Nice-to-have: Go, real-time systems, IoT protocols, IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design and build backend microservices for secure, scalable fleet infra.
• Build customer-facing web app, portals, and internal tooling interfaces.
• Improve API design, schema migrations, observability, deployments.
• Integrate with external services and partner platforms.
• Establish frontend foundations and data-fetching conventions.
• Turn telemetry into fast, usable interfaces under load.
• Ensure production readiness with automated tests and monitoring.
