Job summary

Plug is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Santa Monica. You will own features and work closely with senior engineers on scope, architecture, and cross-system tradeoffs, contributing to AI-powered pricing, real-time APIs, and data pipelines.

You will grow in a collaborative, high-autonomy environment that values technical excellence, careful planning, and diverse perspectives. This in-person role offers ownership and opportunities to impact the EV marketplace.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering production applications.
• Solid proficiency in TypeScript across the full stack.
• Experience deploying and operating cloud-hosted applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Comfort with infrastructure-as-code and Terraform.
• Ability to own features end-to-end with guidance from senior engineers.
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in product design sessions, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Design, implement, test, debug, and document new and existing features.
• Take ownership of features with SSEs on architecture and tradeoffs.
• Write clear, efficient code and grow judgment for scalability with guidance from seniors.
• Contribute to team productivity and process improvements.
• Integrate Plug with 3rd party platforms via APIs.
• Participate in code reviews and pairing, including AI tool usage.
• Grow with mentorship as the team scales.
