Job summary

NetDocuments is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our cloud-based document management platform. You will build production-grade applications end-to-end across the stack using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to drive architectural decisions, deliver secure and scalable web and mobile experiences, and contribute to engineering excellence through leadership and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
6+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade applications.
Strong experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Experience with C# preferred; Java experience also considered.
Experience building modern frontend applications and scalable backend services.
Strong experience designing and implementing REST and GraphQL APIs.
Experience with event-driven and service-oriented architectures.
Experience developing cloud-native applications using AWS services and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Understanding of distributed systems; Kafka or similar event streaming knowledge is a plus.
Experience integrating third-party APIs and external services.
Experience implementing application monitoring, logging, and observability.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain production-grade full stack applications using React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS technologies.
Develop scalable backend services and modern frontend experiences that power secure web and mobile applications.
Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code meeting performance and security standards.
Build and validate software across environments throughout the development lifecycle.
Design and implement event-driven and service-oriented solutions.
Contribute to architectural discussions and design decisions for scalability and reliability.
Integrate internal systems with third-party APIs and external services.
Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering teams throughout the lifecycle.
Drive engineering excellence through collaboration and continuous improvement.
