Job summary

MMD Services is seeking a senior full stack engineer to design, build, and modernize our internal marketing platform. You will own features from design through deployment, leveraging React, Node.js, TypeScript, and AWS Serverless to deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions.

You will collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical implementations, while driving improvements in architecture, performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with React and Node.js.
• Experience designing REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience building applications in AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Independent work style with ownership of solutions.
• Ability to evaluate architectural options based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to deployment.
• Modernize legacy apps by migrating to serverless AWS architecture.
• Design APIs and backend services for multiple frontends and channels.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and optimize for scale and maintainability.
• Build cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda and event-driven services.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
• Handle customer and marketing data to power personalized experiences.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Ensure code quality, testing, deployment, and health of applications.
