Job summary

Gene by Gene is seeking a Software Developer to join our team at myDNA. You will help design and develop WebAPIs and business integration software, leveraging modern frameworks and cloud-native patterns to build scalable solutions for genetic testing and analytics.

You will work on both backend and frontend components, collaborating with users and stakeholders to convert requirements into reliable software products while emphasizing security, performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Deep expertise in C#, .NET Core and modern frontend frameworks (Angular/React)
• Experience with RESTful Web APIs and SQL databases
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ORMs like Dapper/EF
• Experience with CI/CD, microservices and cloud-native patterns
• Knowledge of serverless computing and IaC tooling

• Independently design and develop software solutions
• Communicate effectively to gather requirements and share technical details
• Evaluate feasibility and integrate new solutions with existing systems
• Apply solid system architecture and design principles to maximize usability
