Job summary

Aquent partners with a leading financial services organization to deliver innovative software solutions. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and enhance end-to-end systems, from requirements interpretation to deployment, in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, applying C#/.NET, Angular, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud-native techniques while maintaining high quality and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#/.NET for backend services and logic.
• Experience with Angular for frontend development (TypeScript/HTML/CSS).
• Design, build and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP services.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps on Cloud Foundry.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools to improve quality.
• Experience with unit, integration and manual testing and creating test plans.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document work clearly.
• Collaborative team player comfortable in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret requirements and translate into high-quality software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain applications across the tech stack.
• Investigate client-reported problems and propose resolutions.
• Perform ongoing maintenance to ensure stability and performance.
• Author and execute unit, integration, and manual tests; document results.
• Investigate and propose innovative defect resolutions from testing.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, and engineers in an agile setting.
