Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading financial services organization to hire a Senior Software Engineer in Richfield Township, Ohio. This temporary role focuses on developing secure, scalable fintech software across the full development lifecycle.

You will design and implement backend services with C#/.NET and Angular front-ends, work with RESTful and SOAP APIs, and leverage Cloud Foundry. Start date is Sep 14, 2026, with a competitive hourly rate and agile team environment.

Qualifications

Proficiency in C# / .NET for backend services.
Experience with Angular for frontend development (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
Strong background in API Development, including RESTful APIs design and consumption.
Familiarity with SOAP Services and legacy system integration.
Experience with Cloud Foundry for deploying cloud-native apps.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Expertise in unit, integration, and manual testing; ability to craft test plans and harnesses.

Responsibilities

Translate complex requirements into high-quality software solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend applications across the tech stack.
Investigate and resolve client-reported issues with documented findings and fixes.
Perform ongoing software maintenance to ensure stability and performance.
Create and execute comprehensive tests and document results.
Identify and propose innovative solutions to defects found during testing.
Collaborate with analysts, QA, and engineers in an agile environment.
