Aquent partners with a leading financial services organization to deliver innovative software solutions. We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own and enhance end-to-end systems, from requirements interpretation to deployment, in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, applying C#/.NET, Angular, REST/SOAP APIs, and cloud-native techniques while maintaining high quality and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#/.NET for backend services and logic.
• Experience with Angular for frontend development (TypeScript/HTML/CSS).
• Design, build and consume RESTful APIs and SOAP services.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps on Cloud Foundry.
• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools to improve quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret complex written requirements and technical specifications, translating them into high-quality, working software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications and services across the entire technology stack.
• Investigate and analyze client-reported problems, meticulously documenting findings and proposing effective resolutions.
• Perform ongoing software maintenance, proactively identifying and correcting defects to ensure system stability and performance.
• Author and execute comprehensive unit, integration, and manual tests; implement sophisticated test plans and test harnesses; and accurately document test results.
• Investigate and recommend innovative solutions to defects and problems identified during the testing phase.
• Collaborate seamlessly with business analysts, quality assurance professionals, and fellow engineers within an agile and fast-paced development framework.

Required Qualifications

• Technical Prowess:
• Proficiency in C# / .NET for building and maintaining robust backend services and business logic.
• Experience with Angular for developing and maintaining modern, responsive front-end applications (TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Strong background in API Development, including designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SOAP Services for developing, integrating, and maintaining web services and legacy system integrations.
• Experience with Cloud Foundry for deploying, configuring, and supporting cloud-native applications.
• Demonstrated experience with AI-Assisted Development tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to accelerate development, testing, and code review while upholding stringent quality and security standards.
• Expertise in various testing methodologies, including unit, integration, and manual testing, along with the ability to create test plans, test harnesses, and resolve defects.
• Soft Skills & Work Ethic:
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of technical concepts and project updates.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
