Job summary

TRM Labs is seeking a pragmatic Full-Stack Engineer to join the Full-Stack Product Engineering team in San Francisco. You will design backend APIs and build reliable, scalable software used by TRM customers and internal teams.

You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to convert a vision into a roadmap, own significant components, and contribute to a safer financial system as part of a high-velocity, ownership-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building scalable systems, web applications, APIs, and services.
• Understanding of relational and analytical databases (e.g., Postgres).
• Ability to translate customer pain points into technical and product requirements.
• High initiative and ownership with ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Strong problem structuring and prioritization.
• Clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain public APIs as part of the API Product suite.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn a functional vision into a tangible roadmap with clear outcomes.
• Support and enable internal business units through shared engineering services.
• Develop cross-functional relationships to understand and empower mission end-to-end.
