Job summary

Trajan Wealth LLC is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and secure the digital platforms powering our financial services products. You will work across the stack from React front-ends to API gateway and integration layers connecting internal systems, partner banks, and third-party data providers.

You will collaborate with product managers, security, compliance, and SRE to deliver features that meet regulatory requirements while maintaining rapid development velocity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, frontend and backend
• Proficient in a modern frontend framework with TypeScript (React preferred)
• Experience designing and operating APIs at production scale (REST, GraphQL, gRPC or event-driven)
• Experience with API management platforms (MuleSoft or similar) and security patterns
• Cloud experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/ECS)
• Identity and access standards (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, mTLS)
• Experience with regulated environments and auditing practices

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate full-stack features from React/TypeScript to backend services
• Own the API lifecycle, versioning, deprecation, and developer experience
• Configure and tune the API gateway (MuleSoft)
• Implement authentication/authorization patterns for financial services
• Collaborate with security/compliance to meet standards (SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR/CCPA)
• Build observability: logging, tracing, metrics, and SLOs
• Write production-grade, well-tested code and perform code reviews
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive blameless postmortems
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into clean technical designs
